Good Shepherd Kids Wednesday Night Program
Preschool through 5th grades. Bring your family for dinner beginning at 5:45 to 6:25pm - $5.00 per person, $10.00 max per family. Program begins at 6:30pm. High School - Weekly programs on Sundays, 6-8pm. Room 3. Good conversation and good community for freshman through seniors!
Middle School - Weekly programs on Wednesdays, dinner at 5:45, program 6-8pm. (can bring dinner into the DEN). Worship, Bible Study, and Wacky Fun!

Operation Christmas Child
Starts this month! Sarah Circle is coordinating this project, so look for OCC table starting October 14th on the patio. This year you can pick up a special OCC plastic shoebox to fill with a WOW gift and other items. We will have special OCC guests on Sunday, October 21st sharing their experiences when they traveled to Zambia to deliver shoeboxes.

Flu Shots
Flu shots will be given October 7th in between service, 10am to 10:45am. This year we are able to get the quad version which is more effective. If possible, please wear short sleeved shirts. Vaccines are available for anyone over the age of 9.

Good Shepherd Directory
Please remember to make arrangements to have your photos taken for the new Good Shepherd Directory. Many have already made their appointments, so in order to secure the time and date you would like, please make appointments as soon as you are able. We will be taking photos in Rooms 4 and 5 on the Good Shepherd campus this week from October 8th through October 13th. Hours during the week, 2pm-9pm, and Saturday, 9am-4:30pm. If you are having trouble making your appointment or if you do not have a computer, please feel free to contact Marsha Stanton at 732/770.7997 or mstanton@painadvocate.com. I will be glad to assist in making the appointment for you.

World Wide Mission Team
We would like to invite you to join Pastor Curtis on his Adventure to Haiti on the 2019 Haiti Mission Trip. The dates are February 17th-25th, with travel planned for round trip out of Long Beach. This trip's focus will be primarily on the kids at "Garden of Hope" Orphanage and others in the area but other tasks will be determined upon consideration of those members of the team going. Join us on Wednesday, October 17th, 12pm, in Zirbel Hall as Diane Wood takes us on "An Ordinary Adventure" as she narrates the 2017 trip she and her husband Gerald made in their Model A retracing the trip her Mom and Grandpa did in 1934 from Granville, Michigan to Rialto, California on Route 66 - in a Model A. We will be accepting donations only of ladies' button front blouses, sweaters, and jackets sizes medium and up on the last Sunday of the month of October (28th).
