World-Wide Missions

GSPC WWM has supported students at McGilvary College of Divinity, Thailand. SEA was led by Ron and Evie Oglesbee, currently David Swidrak. WWM invites you to bring your coffee and donuts to Zirbel Hall following first service on Sunday, July 23rd to meet, greet and learn from Moon Aung Lamal, M Div McGilvary 2015, on a short visit here.  

The Parables Through Middle Eastern Eyes

Jesus taught in parables, but often we don't see the context and deeper meanings of His stories. We'll put ourselves in the 1st century and see why Jesus was a brilliant teacher! Sunday mornings, 10:30am, August 6th, 13th and 20th in the Fireside Room, taught by Diane Wood. 

"Your Change Will Make a Change" Sunday

GriefShare Support Group

GriefShare Support Group opens August 15th with orientation in the Patio Room at 10am. The series begins August 22nd continuing on Tuesdays for 13 weeks, 10am to noon. Please look for our information table on the patio area, call the church office (562/493.2553), or visit www.GriefShare.org

We will be accepting donations only of ladies' button front blouses, sweaters, and jackets sizes medium and up on the last Sunday of the month. Remember, these need to be gently worn, laundered, ironed, and on hangers. Contact Marti Johnson at 562/596.8981 with questions.
