An Evening With C.S. Lewis
Tickets for the one man play, An Evening With C.S. Lewis, will be sold on Sunday on the patio. The performances will be on Friday, January 19th at 7:30pm and on Sunday, January 21st at 2:30pm in our Sanctuary. Tickets are $20. All proceeds benefit Grateful Hearts, a nonprofit in Los Alamitos.

Just a friendly reminder to turn in your 2018 pledge card! If you are not comfortable with making a pledge, that is okay! But...if you can, this would be extremely helpful to our session leadership for planning and prioritizing ministries at Good Shepherd. Pledge cards are available in the narthex and in the church office.

Flu Shots Still Available
Influenza A & B are active in our community but FREE flu shots are still available. Call Beth (562/598.5136) if you need the vaccine. Everyone over the age of 9 is encouraged to have a shot. You may still get the flu but it will be much milder than without the vaccine.

Kay is a published author of seven books on scripture and spirituality for Resource Publications. Her latest book is: Song of the Dove, the story of Mary of Nazareth. Senior Adult Day Trip

Prayers and Donations Needed!
The Haitian Mission Team requests your prayers for the upcoming mission trip as they prepare to go and serve the people of Montrouis. Also needed are six large suitcases, 38 new twin size sheet sets, toothpaste and deodorant for the Garden of Hope Orphanage. Items can be left at the church office.
